Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Storydust, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service. These terms apply to all users, including parents and guardians who create accounts on behalf of their children.

Description of service

Storydust is a subscription service that generates personalized, illustrated bedtime stories for children. Stories are created using artificial intelligence and delivered via email to the parent or guardian at a time of their choosing. Each story is unique and tailored to the child's name, age, and interests as provided by the account holder.

Subscription and billing

• Free trial: All new accounts include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period.
• Monthly plan: $7.99 per month, billed monthly after the trial ends.
• Annual plan: $59.99 per year (equivalent to $4.99/month), billed annually after the trial ends.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. After cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.
• Payment processing: All payments are securely processed through Stripe. Storydust does not store your credit card information.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Storydust only for its intended purpose. You may not:

• Use the service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute generated stories for commercial purposes.
• Create accounts using false or misleading information.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.

Intellectual property

Stories generated by Storydust are created for your personal, non-commercial use. You are free to read, print, and share stories with your family. The Storydust brand, logo, website design, and underlying technology remain the property of Storydust.

Disclaimer of warranties

Storydust is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will meet every expectation. AI-generated content may occasionally contain imperfections.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Storydust and its founders, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding any claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Storydust shall be resolved in the courts of the State of New York.
